Helical Anchors Inc.
— What We Do

Six disciplines. One foundation system.

From the first sketch on the engineer's desk to the last pile in the ground — we own the entire process. Innovation, quality, design, consulting, installation and manufacturing under one roof.

01

Innovation

We brought patented inertia-weld technology to deep foundations — and we keep pushing. New helix geometries, faster torque-monitoring telemetry, smarter corrosion modeling. Innovation means improving the old norm, every day.

100%
Batch tested
02

Quality

Every pile is destructive-tested by batch. Every weld is forged, not filled. Every shipment is documented end-to-end. ISO 9001 audited, ICC-ES listed (ESR-3032), and built to a 75+ year service life.

Design

Our engineers custom-design every helical pile to your soil report, structural load, and install method. From a single residential pier to a 200-MW solar array — never an off-the-shelf solution.

Consulting

Our team consults directly with your designers, geotechs and contractors. Soil interpretation, capacity modeling, install-method selection — design-build, fast, with answers within one business day.

Installation

A nationwide network of certified installers, plus in-house support on every project. Torque-monitored installation with full as-built documentation — capacity isn't claimed, it's recorded.

Manufacturing

Vertically integrated in Minneapolis. Cold-rolled, inertia-welded, hot-dip galvanized — all under one roof. Stocked inventory ships in 48 hours; custom builds deliver in two weeks.

Inertia weld manufacturing
Patented
— Manufacturing

The inertia weld floor.

Conventional helix-to-shaft welds rely on filler metal and create a heat-affected zone — the weakest point on the pile. Our patented inertia process generates the weld through friction alone: continuous forged grain, no porosity, no slag, no HAZ. The result is a joint stronger than the parent steel.

  • Solid-state friction weld
  • No filler metal
  • No heat-affected zone
  • Forged-grain continuity
  • 2× shear vs. gusset weld
  • Hot-dip galvanized to ASTM A123

How a project gets from soil report to as-built.

01
Engineer

Soil analysis + load review define pile geometry, helix configuration, and install torque target.

02
Manufacture

Inertia welding, hot-dip galvanizing, batch testing — all in our Minneapolis facility.

03
Install

Torque-monitored installation by our certified network. Capacity verified pile-by-pile.

04
Certify

Full as-built submittal with torque logs, capacity correlation and warranty documentation.
